How Can We Help?

FAQ: FAQ

WILL MY INSURANCE COVER APPOINTMENTS?

You'll have to check with your insurance company directly.  Most insurance companies will cover a portion of appointment costs up to a certain amount per year.

We are able to direct bill for some services to certain insurance companies- please inquire with us via e-mail at info@childrenstherapycollective.com if desired.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

Once you book an appointment through our online platform, you will receive an e-mail to confirm your e-mail address. Check your e-mail (and for sure check your junk folder just in case).  You will also receive an appointment confirmation and any intake forms that need to be filled out!

WHERE DO APPOINTMENTS TAKE PLACE?

We are currently offering appointments either virtually (you will receive a link to a video call through our online platform) or in the clients home or another agreed upon location.

WHAT MEASURES ARE YOU TAKING TO PREVENT COVID-19 SPREAD?

We are screening both staff and clients/client families prior to appointments- there are no cancellation or appointment change fees at this time.  We are also following vigorous cleaning and sanitizing procedures for our equipment.  We will wash our hands or sanitize on arrival to appointments, may take temperatures if deemed appropriate and wear masks at all times and all individual present for appointments over the age of 7 must wear masks if able.  We continue to monitor public health orders on a daily basis.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT TYPE OF SERVICE MY CHILD NEEDS?

Please feel free to book a FREE PHONE CONSULTATION with any of the three disciplines through our booking platform. The clinician will then be able to walk you through the options and decide whether or not any of the services we provide would be beneficial for your child.

WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS MORE THAN ONE SERVICE?

Please contact us directly through our e-mail at info@childrenstherapycollective.com or via phone at 204-202-3259.

We will work with you to figure out how to best support your child and family- some of the possibilities are joint clinician appointments (for example, speech-language pathology and occupational therapy) or scheduling appointments back to back for different clinical staff.
